About Us
Our Story
Think Big Do Bigger CIC was born from a journey of creativity, challenge, and rediscovery.

Our founder, Charli Streete, first trained and worked in theatre before returning to university and later spending a decade in homelessness and mental health services. Supporting people through some of the toughest moments in their lives was powerful and important work, but it also came at a personal cost. Experiencing burnout became a turning point, forcing Charli to pause and re-examine how to care for her own wellbeing while still making space for connection and change.

That’s when she reconnected with creativity, something she had lost along the way. Through mindful art and blackout poetry, she discovered not just tools for her own reflection, but powerful mechanisms for helping others reach inner thoughts and emotions, open up difficult conversations, and engage people who often face barriers.

What began as a personal rediscovery soon grew into community workshops, and eventually into Think Big Do Bigger CIC. A space where creativity, reflection, and co-production meet.

Today, we deliver creative projects, reflective practice, and wellbeing programmes across communities and workplaces. From art workshops in parks, to heritage projects co-produced with local residents, to reflective sessions with frontline staff.
Every strand of our work is shaped by five values:

-
Connection – building bridges between people and communities
-
Authenticity – holding safe, honest and inclusive spaces
-
Creativity – sparking new ways of expression and engagement
-
Wisdom – honouring stories, heritage, and lived experience
-
Social Justice – amplifying voices often left out of the narrative

Our journey began with burnout. But it has grown into a commitment: to create spaces where others can rediscover their voices, explore creativity, and transform challenge into possibility.
Think Big Do Bigger is about making that change. One poem, one workshop, one community at a time.
